Beyond the Speakers: VJ Hunt 2019�

     

           A series of voices and a complete show of smiles. That’s what VJ hunt contestants in the recently concluded book week celebration in Quezon National High School showcased during the English Fest organized by the English Department with the help of Young Journalists Club (YJC). With the theme of Inclusive. Innovative. Interconnected.

                Ten pair/ duo of students from different grade levels presented the ‘Top 5 Countdown of Millennial Songs this 2019’ and left audience with on LSS or last song syndrome mode as they presented songs such as: Kill This Love by BlackPink on number 5, Lose You to Love Me by Selena Gomez on number 4, Señorita by Shawn Mendes featuring Camila Cabello on number 3, I Don't Care by Ed Sheeran on number 2, and Memories by Maroon 5 on number 1.

                Duos from different grade levels spent at least weeks to prepare for the VJ hunt contest.

                Rehearsing their delivery, clarity, audience engagement with limited time frames. Aside from the music countdown, the VJs also included and entertained hashtags and shoutouts from the day’s special event.
