Blast in the morning
Mrs. Cynthia Montemayor-Tadong, Officer In-Charge of English Deparment, welcomes the Quezon High-ers with her remarkable speech during her Opening remarks in the bookweek celebration with the theme : Inclusive, innovative, interconnected.
It has been followed by the “Reading of the Board of Judges” given by Ms. Emely Magpantay while Mr. Alvin Patal gave the “Rules for Judging.”
The morning celebration highlights “Dance Drama, Theatrical Speech Choir, and Declaim-A-Song.”
Every contenders exerts their hundred percent of energy in order to excute their piece continually in the declaim-a-song portion.
Students enthusiastically scream out loud and give their support to their favorite pairs of contestants in the highly anticipated Dance Drama 2019.
On the other hand, Grade 9 SPJ- Gryffindor (RCB) bags the number one spot in the “Theatrical Speech Choir” using “If” of Rudyard Kipling as their contest piece, this year.
According to Janice Kate Martinez, one of the main lead of the Gryffindor, “Masaya po talaga kami kasi at last, nakuha po namin yung panalo, syempre pa po sobra pa sa masaya.”
They also said that this heart-felt performance is really dedicated to their adviser, Miss Rubyrose C. Baldovino.
“Of course, I am very proud of my babies and it really was the best performance they ever had.” Miss Baldovino stated.
The morning program was indeed a very good introduction of the afternoon part before it successfully ended.
